Thailand’s longest train tunnel shut after passenger dust complaints

Thailand's longest train tunnel, the Pha Sadet tunnel, was temporarily shut down due to passenger complaints about dust. AirAsia launches direct flights from Phuket to India

AirAsia has launched new direct flights from Phuket to Chennai and Kolkata, India, starting October 27, 2024. The Chennai-Phuket route will operate thrice weekly, while the Kolkata-Phuket route will have daily flights. Two tourists drown in Phuket beach tragedies

Two tourists drowned in separate incidents on Phuket beaches. A 52-year-old Hong Kong man, Che Ka Fai, drowned at Patong Beach despite rescue efforts. Dutch teenager falls to death from cliff at viewpoint in Krabi

An 18-year-old Dutch teenager, Tim Bakker, fell to his death from a cliff at the Ngon Nak Nature Trail viewpoint in Krabi. After becoming separated from his family, he was found at the base of the cliff following a search by rangers and rescue teams. It is believed that he slipped while enjoying the view.
Help sought for missing Briton in Bangkok

Help is being sought for Simon Robinson, a 27-year-old Briton who went missing in Bangkok. He was last seen on July 26, 2024, when he was supposed to board a flight back to the UK. His phone signal was last detected five minutes before reaching Suvarnabhumi Airport. His family and friends have turned to social media and contacted the British embassy for assistance in locating him.
